Football is back along with our efforts to understand what will happen during the different football matches.
It’s their weekly pick, MDS and you’re really in the fight, picking each game.
I think I won last year. I can’t remember, actually. I suppose someone will correct me if I’m wrong.
Whether to acknowledge the correction is a different matter.
Hopefully my picks for the first week will need a little correction. We disagree on four out of 16 matches.

Bills (-2.5) in rams
take MDS: The Bills are the pre-season Super Bowl favorites, and in the first week they are the favorites to beat the Super Bowl defenders. However I feel it Matthew Stafford He’ll beat Josh Allen with the Rams’ win.
MDS selection: 27 Rams, Bills 20.

Saints (-5.5) in Falcons
take MDS: The attack of the Hawks will be better than people expect, but the Saints will still win this game in a close and exciting match.
MDS selection: Saints 33, Hawks 31.
Take Florio: Post-Payton Saints get off to a good start against the overtaking Hawks. We’ll see if it continues.

49ers (-7) in the Bears
take MDS: I don’t sell to either of them Tree Lance or Justin Fieldsbut I think the 49ers are going to have a defensive fight.

Steelers (+6.5) in Bengals
take MDS: Mitchell Trubesky will have a better season than people think for the Steelers, but a season not so good that I expect him to outshine it Joe Borough In the first week.

Eagles (-4) in Lions
take MDS: The Lions look to me like an improved team – but it’s probably the kind of improved team that loses a lot of close matches instead of losing blasts.
MDS selection: Eagles 21, Lions 20.
Take Florio: Eagles have high expectations. The best way to start coexisting with them is to beat an inferior team.

Patriots (+3.5) in Dolphins
take MDS: I’m not as sold on the new Dolphins attack form as some are, and I think Bill Belichick will have some defensive wrinkles in store that help the Patriots win in a low-goal game.
MDS selection: Patriots 16, Dolphins 13.
Take Florio: The Patriots struggle in Miami when they have a better team. How will they do when they don’t?

Crows (-7) in planes
take MDS: Looks like it’s going to be a long season for the Jets, and a rebound season for the Ravens.
MDS selection: crows 31, planes 17.
Take Florio: Joe Flacco Not from the elite. Nor are the rest of his team.
fluoro choice: crows 27, planes 17.
Jaguar (+2.5) in Leaders
take MDS: The Jaguars should be better than they have been in the last two disastrous seasons, but the leaders will win a close match in the first week.
MDS selection: Commanders 14, Jaguar 13.
Take Florio: just us Carson Wentz He finally puts last season’s end-of-season disaster in Jacksonville behind him, and that’s where Jaguar comes in.
fluoro choice: Jaguar 24, Leaders 20.
Browns (+1.5) in Panthers
take MDS: Baker Mayfield take revenge on him. In the long run, Brown’s decision to move from Mayfield may have been justified, but in the short term, it was a bad fit for Cleveland who would be followed by an ugly start to the regular season.
MDS selection: Panthers 23, Browns 20.
Take Florio: Maybe Baker Mayfield didn’t say he wanted to beat the Browns. But he definitely wants to. He will do.

Ponies (-7) in Texas
take MDS: Both teams look better than last year, but I have more confidence in them Matt Ryan what i do about it Davis Mills To play well in the opening game.
MDS selection: Colts 24, Texas 20.
Take Florio: Matt Ryan may not be an answer for five years, but he’s the best quarterback they’ve had since Andrew Lack retired. Meanwhile, Texas is still in the midst of a rebuilding process with no deadline for completion.

Giants (+5.5) in Titans
take MDSThe Titans had a strange off-season case for a team that was the top seed in the AFC last year, looking more like a rebuilding team than one trying to make it to the Super Bowl. I still think they’re better than the Giants, though.

Take FlorioThe Titans lost at home in the first week of last year, 38-13 to the Cardinals. Mike Frabel certainly didn’t forget it, and he certainly didn’t let his players forget it either.

Packers (-1.5) in Vikings
take MDS: The Packers should sail to their fourth consecutive NFC North title and start with a road win over the second best team in the division.
MDS selection: Packers 28, Vikings 21.
Take Florio: The Vikings will immediately be better than they were last year. Beams might be better in the end, too. However, it will take them some time to get there.
fluoro choice: Vikings 28, Packers 24.
Chiefs (-6) in cardinals
take MDS: I’d love for The Chiefs to win this big game, with Patrick Mahomes make an offer and Keeler Murray Struggling to keep up.

Raiders (+3) in Chargers
take MDS: Last year’s Sunday night final rematch would end differently, because this time the Chargers won a close match.

Pirates (-2.5) in Cowboys
take MDS: Tom Brady He may have taken a long vacation during training camp, but when the matches are real, he will turn it on and defeat the Cowboys.

Broncos (-6.5) at Seahawks
take MDS: Russell Wilson He will score a win on his return to Seattle, but it won’t be as easy as some believe, as the Seahawks’ defense will prove better than expected.
