Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai have returned to team training ahead of Liverpool's Premier League match against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, but Mohamed Salah is still absent.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is also hoping that Wataru Endo and Andy Robertson will be available for the trip to the City Ground.
Nunez missed the past three matches due to a muscle problem, while Szoboszlai has not participated since the end of January due to a hamstring injury.
Endo (ankle) and Robertson (illness) missed Wednesday's FA Cup fifth-round win over Southampton.
The Premier League leaders need reinforcements during their hectic schedule after 14 members of the first team disappeared in midweek.
Klopp said: “Darwin and Dom trained with the team yesterday, so we have to wait and see their reaction.”
“Wataru and Robo didn't but there's a plan ready to join in today.
“Maka (Alexis McAllister) was sick for a day and a half and Robbo had the same thing. Hopefully it didn't spread. I haven't heard that it has.”
Salah is still undergoing rehabilitation after feeling discomfort in his hamstrings after his return against Brentford two weeks ago.
Klopp added: “I don't think Mo is too far away, but he won't arrive tomorrow.” “Next week possibly. On the way back but not there yet.”
