Blizzard has revealed the next hero to join their squad, the leader of the Null Sector, Ramattra.
As disturbed by tradition, Ramatra is the leader of the Null Sector. Like Zenyatta, Ramatra is a monk of Shambly who no longer sees the option of peacefully defending the rights of the Omnics, and has now taken a “pragmatic angle,” according to the Overwatch blog announcing his reveal.
“Originally a war machine,” Ramatra writes, “Ramatra cast his munitions into a shield to protect his people by promoting peace and tranquility.” “However, the Ramatra’s story is the story of hardships, traumas, and a magnified view of the harsh reality of humanity.”
While Blizzard only shared a cinematic trailer showing the background and origins of Ramatra, IGN was part of an informational roundtable with Overwatch 2 hero designer Alec Dawson revealing that Ramatra will have two skins players can switch between.
“He has two forms. He has the Omnic form and his Nemesis form. Part of the skill we test is when to switch between these forms. Because the Omnic form, you’re playing this twitch game, you’re protecting your team, a little bit in range. And then the enemy form you’re speeding enemies into. You attack right there and you have these punches.”
The Null Division Leader is on a mission to create a better world for Omnics… no matter the cost.
coming to # Overwatch 2 Season 2, December 6.

Ramatra will be the fourth new hero to be introduced since Overwatch 2 launched with Sojourn, Junker Queen and Kiriko. According to Blizzard, the team wants to release a new map or release a hero in successive seasons.
Overwatch 2 is finally released, completely replacing the original Overwatch although players are still waiting for the combo-driven PvE mode.
