The newspaper reports that the Prague conference was co-organized by Petr Bystron, a German deputy representative to the Bundestag from the AfD party. According to the newspaper, Czech counterintelligence (BIS) believes Bystron received money for its operations from the Kremlin.
“BIS, along with other countries' services (including the Polish Internal Security Agency), recently dismantled a network of Russian agents, among other things, spreading disinformation and paying Kremlin-friendly politicians. According to Zeks, the Kremlin funded the Voice of Europe website. Its guest was in the past, among others, Dominik Tarczyński, PiS MEP,” reports website redakcja.pl.
Earlier, the newspaper wrote that Roman Fritz, a federalist politician who was elected last year as a member of parliament from the Bielsko-Biała district, gave an interview to the portal in winter.
“Fritz, in an interview with Voice of Europe, criticized the PiS government's social policy, thanks to which Ukrainians fleeing the war can receive the same benefits for children as Polish citizens. Ukrainians (…). Poland “certainly do not have enough money for such expenses,” he said. Federation MP
Polish MP at far-right conference
The newspaper established that two Voice of Europe journalists attended a European far-right conference in Prague in February this year, co-sponsored by an AfD MP and the party's candidate in the upcoming European elections, Petr Bystron. He called Fritz to it – he adds.
“Yes, Bystron organized Fritz's visit. Fritz speaks perfect Czech. At the conference on February 19, he spoke about the future of Europe,” Milutin Ilić, organizer of the February conference and a Serbian nationalist, confirmed to the newspaper. “He is also an aide to an MP from the far-right Czech Freedom and Direct Democracy Party. Politicians from this party spoke during the conference. László Toroczkai, leader of the Hungarian far-right Mi Hazank (Our Homeland) party was also invited,” we read.
