How many Powerball numbers do you need to win the prize?
Technically, you can win Powerball with just one number. If you hit the Powerball number, you’ll get a $4 prize.
If you get one ball right, you’ll also have to hit the Powerball to win $4. If you hit two balls and a Powerball ball, you win $7. You can also get $7 for getting three numbers right without Powerball. Add Powerball to that and you get $100.
You will also win $100 for getting four numbers correct.
This is where you get the fun. If you hit four numbers and the Powerball ball, you win $50,000. Hit all five numbers, and you’ll win a million dollars. You will get the grand prize if you hit all five numbers and the power ball.
