President Duda: There is no threat to Poland

What arrangements were made in the meeting at the Bureau of National Security? He said that the situation in Russia is being continuously monitored and that consultations have been held since morning with the President, Head of State and Poland’s allies. “Everything points to slowing expansion in Russia,” President Duda said.

During the meeting, detailed reports were presented by the heads of all the services and the Chief of General Staff also addressed.

– At this moment the result is in doubt (…) Poland is not under any threat at this moment. In general, this situation has not and will not affect the situation in our country. So, in fact, we fully believe that this is an internal matter of Russia,” the president said.

He promised to continue monitoring the situation in Russia. “However, we have not ordered to increase the readiness of our troops, vigilance is certainly maintained at all times,” he stressed.

“But in general, I want to assure you, we have no information that our security has been compromised in any way. This is a Russian internal matter. This is our conclusion, this is the conclusion of all the information we received today,” the President said.
