The Russian invasion of Ukraine is now in its 478th day. On Friday, Putin will speak at the forum in St. Petersburg – he will come anyway, although there were doubts about that. According to Ukrainian media reports, mobile internet will be disabled during the plenary session to prevent drones from attacking the forum site. This is not the first time in recent times that authorities have shut down the Internet to protect Putin. Last week, for three days from June 7 to 9, internet access was banned in Sochi and Adler.
