The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked is set to happen in late July in Seoul, but we may already have a pretty good idea of what’s to come thanks to a series of leaked renders originally posted by Evan Blass.
The renders, which show the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 6, can no longer be found on Blass’ Twitter profile since the images were removed, apparently under a DMCA claim from Samsung itself (which is why we so) is not included here). Fortunately for us, these photos can still be seen (at the time of writing) in a post by Fabrizio Digni.

The big new reveal from this leak is the Galaxy Tab S9 series of tablets, specifically the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. This is expected to be the second in Samsung’s series of ultra-compact tablets with impressive specs (and affordable prices) after the current Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, and should offer excellent performance and a redesigned body with official dust/water resistance ratings.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 also appears, sporting a Cyan/Aqua color. Samsung’s two expected smaller foldable phones have already been leaked, and it’s good to see the two match up. It does support the presence of upgrades like the enlarged external screen on the Z Flip 5, a feature that’s been calling for improvement since the original Z Flip.
The last notable product in these promotional shots is the Galaxy Watch 6, whose press renders were also leaked recently. These and new models show a revised design with what appears to be smaller bezels and a number of differently colored straps.
There are also models of the larger classic style which feature a rotating bezel as well as extra screen space.
Interestingly, there are also some unknown wireless earbuds in one of the photos. These things are likely only there to illustrate the Galaxy ecosystem, and could explain why they blend into the background while other devices appear in fun colors. Similarly, Samsung may be bringing some new earphones to the Unpacked offer, possibly successors to the Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, or even older Samsung earphones like the Galaxy Buds Plus or Galaxy Buds Live.
Notable omission
Surprisingly, there’s no sign of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in this latest set of images, though we’ve already seen leaks before that, which gives us a pretty good idea of what it might look like. And how could it look quite similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, save for a new camera block design and a tighter closing hinge.
Samsung still hasn’t set an exact date for the next Galaxy Unpacked event, but based on what’s already been said, we’re probably a little over a month old. This gives us time for more leaks for all of these devices to surface, but not too long to wait for everything to be confirmed on stage.
