Taylor Swift’s 100th “Eras Tour” is on now, but the end of it all is in sight.
Swift announced on stage tonight in Liverpool, England, that the tour will end at the end of the year, ending speculation that more dates could be added.
“This is the first time I’ve admitted to myself and admitted that this tour will end in December,” she said before her song. well.
“I used to have hobbies one day,” she joked.
She continued: “You have done so much to be with us.” “I’ve made plans so far in advance. I’ve planned what you’re going to wear. I’ve memorized the lyrics. I’ve got yourself here. I’ve figured out parking. I’ve figured out transportation, and I want to spend the 100th show thinking about that and living that moment and being here with you, and knowing Just that I appreciate every ounce of effort you put in to be with us when this show hits triple digits in showings so thank you!
Swift kicked off her sold-out tour in Arizona on March 17, 2023. It became the highest-grossing tour of all time after grossing more than $1 billion.
The Eras Tour concert film added even more following its debut in October 2023, earning an additional $261.6 million worldwide.
Swift’s announcement tonight was only surprising because she recently added an extension to her touring show. She added 15 dates to her final North American stop, including a six-night stint in Canada.
“Turns out it’s not the end of an era for Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: the Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024,” she tweeted at the time of the added shows.
