Alwyn told The Times that he has come to terms with the misconceptions surrounding their split, especially after the couple went to great lengths to keep their relationship private.
“As everyone knows, we decided together – both of us mutually – to keep the most intimate details of our relationship private. It was never something that could be commoditized, and I see no reason to change that now,” he said. “And look, it’s been a little over a year now and I feel lucky that I’m in a really great place in my life, both professionally and personally. I feel really good.”
