Amazon’s Prime Day is in full swing in the UK, Europe and the US and we’ve rounded up some great laptop deals from the US.
Starting with Asus, for the same price you can get the great 16-inch VivoBook Pro 16 laptop with RTX 4060 or the dual-screen ZenBook Pro Duo 15 with two OLED screens.
Gaming options include the MSI Thin GF63 with a 15.6-inch, 144Hz display and RTX 4050 graphics, and the Stealth 17 Studio with the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor and RTX4080 graphics from Nvidia.
Acer has two really affordable options for gamers – the Nitro 5 and Swift X, both with an RTX 3050 – Ti on the 14-inch Swift X, and regular on the 15.6-inch 144Hz Nitro 5.
Samsung and LG both have attractive models in the thin and light range. Samsung’s Galaxy Book3 and Book3 Pro are both OLED and pack a 13th-generation Intel processor, while the LG gram 16 and gram 17 are both very light and packed with features. The Galaxy Book3 stands out here the most at under $800 for an OLED screen and the latest Intel processor.
Finally, an entry-level gamer from Lenovo – the IdeaPad Gaming 3 has a 120Hz 15.6-inch display and RTX 3050 graphics for $600.
Apple is particularly stingy in the US during Prime Day. Cupertino doesn’t participate in Amazon Prime Day deals but there could have been at least some reasonable discounts on recent MacBooks. But no – Apple wants you to go and buy their laptops from their website.
