The boys were found guilty of murdering Sean Sisahay with a machete in Wolverhampton

Two 12-year-old British boys have been found guilty of the fatal machete murder of a teenage stranger, making them the youngest killers to be convicted in the UK in more than three decades.

The baby-faced killers, whose names have not been revealed, hacked 19-year-old Sean Sisahai to death in November in a shocking unprovoked attack in Wolverhampton. BBC reported.

The boys tried to blame each other for the brutal murder during the trial, but the jury on Monday found both violent youths guilty, the newspaper reported.

Prosecutor Michelle Healy told the committee during the trial that Sisahay had been beaten and had injuries to the back, legs and skull – and the attackers had beaten her so hard that a piece of bone “actually came out”.

Haley said: “He had various injuries to his leg, and most importantly, he suffered an injury from the machete that entered his body from his back to his ribs to his heart.”

An eyewitness to the gruesome murder told police that one of the boys was cutting off Sisahai’s legs while the other was stomping on his head during the November 13 attack.

Sisahai was pronounced dead at the scene.

West Midlands Police Inspector Damian Forrest described the attack as “shocking”.

“Unfortunately, this is not the first case I have investigated involving a young man who lost his life due to a stabbing, but it is the first in which I have looked at the responsibility of two 12-year-olds,” Forrest told the BBC.

The boys are believed to be the youngest convicted of murder in Britain since two 10-year-old boys were convicted of torturing and killing young boy James Bulger in 1993, the newspaper reported.

Bulger was just two years old when Jon Venables and Robert Thompson kidnapped the boy and brutally beat him – the kidnapping at a shopping center captured in surveillance images that have now gone viral.
