The Broncos retain four wide receivers in their initial 53-man roster

Broncos wide receiver Jerry Goody unexpected to go on injured reserve to start the regular season, but the Broncos may still be in the market for help at wide range.

Their initial 53-man roster featured only four players. He joins Jodi Courtland Sutton, second round pick Marvin Mims and Brandon Johnson.

This wouldn’t be the only step on the list. The Broncos don’t currently have a forward, but they do going to add Will Lutz in the trade to the Saints and getting the fifth assignment position should mean they get some players that have been let go by other teams.

Linebacker Baron Browning will remain on the PUP roster in the regular season, so he will miss at least the first four games of the year.

The Broncos also waived or released LB Chris Allen, T Quinn Bailey, C Kyle Fuller, WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey, NT Tyler Lancaster, K Brett Maher, CB Fabian Moreau, NT Mike Purcell, RB Dwayne Washington, LB Austin Ajiake, RB Tyler Buddy, WR Michael Bundy, ILB Seth Benson, J Henry Bird, WR Marquis Callaway, QB Ben DiNucci, CBR Art Green, WR Taylor Grimes, WR Josh Hammond, OLB Marcus Haynes, CB Fayon Hicks, TE Tommy Hudson, DD Jordan Jackson, T DeMontrey Jacobs, RB Tony Jones Jr., CB Devon Key, DT Tomasi Luliel, DTB J Mustiver, DT Hagai Chisom Ndobusi, Oleb Aaron Patrick, J Will Sherman, WR Montrell Washington.
