The early access launch the day before is not going well so far

After trademark disputes, multiple delays, and everything in between, FNTASTIC has finally released The Day Before on Steam in Early Access. But it’s not the best start at the moment with many players complaining, citing server and performance issues as among the biggest issues.

At the time of writing, The previous day’s Steam page It has been flooded with negative comments from users. Many criticize it despite it being classified as an open world game or arcade MMO gameIn reality, He is an extraction shooter, like Some players He pointed out.

One reviewer to publish About how their character will randomly fall across the map as soon as the opening cutscene ends. My colleague Mark Medina has already experienced the same thing, and was kind enough to upload the first 22 minutes of the game as well as the infamous bug at the beginning, which you can check out below:

This is, of course, assuming you manage to get into the game at all, as many players have expressed their frustrations online about Server issues.

Even developer FNTASTIC acknowledged the overload North American servers on X/Twitter.

This does not take into account other issues players have encountered. For example, a user on The Day Before subreddit pointed out that despite it being a zombie game, zombies It’s nothing but a threat.

Furthermore, the developer seems to be completely overwhelmed by the negative feedback. At the time of writing this, official The Day Before Discord mods have halted discussion in most server channels, saying the following:

We have made the decision to temporarily close the channel for several reasons. First, it is essential that we let things subside due to the massive toxicity that we currently cannot manage effectively. Second, we need to route all bug reports to the development team, and we can’t achieve this if we’re not allowed to share those reports.

Constant moderation here diverts our time away from addressing major errors and making crucial reforms. A patch is in the works, so please prepare for the next game update.
