Attendees at Disney D23 got their first look at the live-action remake of Snow White, starring Rachel Ziegler as the titular role and Gal Gadot as the evil queen.
A short teaser was shown at the fan convention, showing Ziggler, Gadot and an apple falling from Snow White’s hand. Disney also tweeted the logo for the new release, set to debut in 2024.

Zegler and Gadot were on hand to tease out some details about the new release. Snow White is the girl you remember, but she was definitely made for the modern age.
“It was very different from everything I’ve done before,” Gadot said of the role of the Evil Queen. “I’m used to playing the other side. She’s the first and most famous villain in the world.”
Mark Webb is directing Snow White from a screenplay by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson.
Snow White is only one of the few films that D23 attendees have earned. Disney also showed first looks at The Little Mermaid, The Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, Wendy, Disenchanted, and Hocus Pocus 2, as well as announcing The Lion King prequel Mufasa.
