Vice-President of the European Parliament has been arrested in connection with corruption

Apart from Kaila, four others, including MEP’s partner, have been detained in the case, the agency added.

In the EP, Kylie belongs to the group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats. The Greek daily “Kathimerini” reported that the MEP had been expelled from the Greek Socialist Party PASOK, to which he belonged, in connection with the ongoing investigation.
