The Russians fired at the center of Kharkiv. The Ukrainian Pravda website writes that a large explosion took place on Tuesday morning in the main square of the city, near the seat of regional officials. The missiles struck the regional authorities’ seat, the Philharmonic Hall and the estate. There are at least two deaths and injured children.
Records show a large explosion in Svobadi Square near the regional administration headquarters. At the time of the explosion, there were a lot of cars and people at the meeting, Ukrainian Pravda said.
Roman Semenuk, deputy head of the Kharkiv regional administration, was quoted by Pravda as saying that at least two people had been killed as a result of shelling by Russian troops in the center of Kharkiv.
Rescue work is underway, and Ukraine’s emergency services say people are still trapped under the rubble.
About 20 people were injured.
As a result of the shelling, the seat of the regional state administration and nearby buildings were partially demolished.
“There are people under the rubble. Rescue workers have taken at least six people out. About 20 people have been injured,” it said. “Rescuers and volunteers are retrieving victims and bodies from under the rubble,” it said.

“Missiles explode in my beloved Central Svobody Square in Kharkiv! My heart breaks,” wrote Anton Herashchenko, adviser to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry in a telegram.
The missiles struck the regional authorities’ seat, the Philharmonic Hall and the estate.
– The crazy “liberators” did not even hide the fact that their attacks were carried out on civilians. The state emergency service announced in a statement that the enemy was now cynically and demonstrably firing rockets into the center of Kharkiv.
The Russians used ship missiles
Ole Sinihubov, head of the Kharkiv regional authorities, said the Russians had fired on Kharkiv with high-powered rockets and ship missiles. Work is underway to count the casualties among the public, he said.

“Today our enemy insidiously carried out shelling from Gross Systems and Cruise missiles at the center of Kharkiv and home gardens,” Sinihubov said in the video.
The city’s central square was attacked in front of the seat of regional officers.
Among the injured were children
Ukrainian emergency services said on Tuesday that six people, including a child, had been injured in a Russian missile strike in the center of Kharkiv.
The death toll is still unknown – services have been changed.
Ukraine has called for the isolation of Russia
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba on Tuesday called for the complete isolation of Russia after launching “barbaric missile strikes” on Kharkiv’s main square and home gardens.
“Barbaric missile strikes on Central Svoboda Square and Kharkiv home gardens. Putin failed to break through Ukraine. He commits more war crimes in anger, killing innocent civilians,” Guleba wrote on Twitter.
