Our iPhone is now glued For being with us wherever we go. However, it is disturbing to know that these smartphones can track you at all times of the day and night, even when you don’t want them to.
It’s incredibly scary when you’re using Maps or another GPS app, and your phone suggests frequent places you’ve visited, such as your home address, a friend’s house, or your workplace.
How does my iPhone track my frequent locations?
Apple has given its iPhones a special edge named important sites. These sites are usually the places you visit the most.
This feature is on by default, and aims to help you keep track of all the places you’ve been to most.
While you might look at this as a valuable feature that you enjoy using, I understand that not everyone wants to be tracked at all times of the day, and some prefer to keep the places you visit private, even from your own devices. Apple is focused on privacy, and it gives us better control to disable important websites.
