Xbox Partners March 2024 Preview: All announced

Microsoft held its second Xbox Partner Preview event, where the company spent nearly 30 minutes highlighting third-party games coming to Xbox consoles and Windows PC.

Unknown 9: Awakening is getting a new gameplay trailer coming this summer

Kicking off the show, Reflector Entertainment shared a new trailer for Unknown 9: Awakening, which will be released this summer.

This is the latest look at Unknown 9: Awakening since the game was revealed nearly four years ago during the Gamescom Night Live opening ceremony.

Sleight of Hand is the next game from Framed designer Joshua Boggs

Joshua Boggs, the developer behind the mobile game Framed, has announced his next project: Sleight of Hand. Like his previous project, Sleight of Hand is a noir game with stealth gameplay. Players control Lady Luck, a private detective who uses dark magic to take down her former witches.

Sleight of Hand will be released on Xbox and PC sometime next year and will also be available on Microsoft's Game Pass gaming service.

11 Bit Studios' upcoming sci-fi game, The Alters is getting a new gameplay trailer, but no release date

The Alters, a new sci-fi game with plenty of action and tense moments, got a new gameplay trailer at Partner Preview today. The new gameplay trailer shows Jan Dulski, who creates different versions of himself while trying to escape a deadly planet.

Ava's creatures, seem like a more relaxed version of Palworld

11 Bit Studios used the Partner Preview today to reveal their next game, Creatures of Ava.

Creatures of Ava is a non-violent action-adventure game set in a fantasy world filled with monsters. Players control Vic, who uses a flute to tame infected wild creatures rather than fight to eradicate them.

Creatures of Ava is scheduled to release sometime this year and will be available on day one for Xbox and PC Game Pass subscribers.

There is a Roblox game where you can play as Chucky, but only for a limited time

When you think of Roblox, the last thing that probably comes to mind is the fictional killer doll Chucky. Well, that's changing today as Griefville: Survive the Nightmare will let you play as a killer doll for a limited time. In a press release, developer RocketRide Games revealed that Griefville's gameplay will involve players in a game loop, where they spend the day getting ready before dark while trying to endure nightmarish portals that “transport them to unique game modes.”

“With Griefville: Survive the Nightmare!, we wanted to create an experience that taps into the shared cultural touchstone of ’80s and ’90s horror for older Roblox users,” RocketRide Games CEO Lois-Rene Auclair wrote in a press release. “It's not just about jump scares, it's about capturing the atmosphere, tension, and pure joy of getting lost in a classic horror movie. We're thrilled to be bringing Griefville to Roblox with the best possible partners!”

The long-awaited sequel, The Sinking City 2, will be released next year

After a long legal battle regarding the copyright to the original game, Frogwares has finally revealed that The Sinking City 2 will finally be released sometime next year.

A survival horror game set in 1920s USA, The Sinking City 2 will have players exploring a semi-open world powered by Unreal Engine 5.

In addition to the release date, Frogwares revealed in a press release that it plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds to develop Sinking City 2 as a Ukraine-based studio due to the impact the developer has faced as a result of the ongoing war with Russia.

The full version of Final Fantasy 14 for Xbox will be released in a few weeks

Square Enix has revealed that the full version of Final Fantasy 14 will be released on March 21 on Xbox consoles.

This has been a long time coming for Xbox fans. Last July, it was revealed that Final Fantasy 14 would be arriving on Xbox consoles with a Series Ahead of the full release, an open beta was released to Xbox owners last month.

The first 3 STALKER games have been remastered for modern consoles

If you're planning to play the upcoming STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl but haven't played the first game (or any other entries), today's Xbox Partner Preview revealed that STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat are all being remastered for modern consoles.

This remastered collection gets a stealth release today, titled STALKER Legends of the Zone Trilogy.

Monster Jam Showdown is a new racing game with Monster Trucks

If you're looking for a new racing game this year, Monster Jam Showdown might be what you're looking for. Players will endure numerous off-road races in a range of monster trucks.

Monster Jam Showdown is scheduled to release sometime this year.

Neople's upcoming RPG The First Berserker was announced last December at the 2023 Game Awards, and received a new trailer at today's show.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau looks beautiful in the game's new trailer

The latest project from the EA originals initiative is Surgent Studios' colorful Metroidvania game Tales of Kenzera: Zau. The game's new trailer, narrated by actor Abu Bakr Salem, shows off a colorful in-game world and fast-paced gameplay.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau will be released on April 23 for Xbox PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

Frostpunk 2 gets a July release date and new trailer

11 bit studios Finally shared the release date To complement the highly anticipated Frostpunk 2, which will be released on July 25 for PC and will be a day one release on PC Game Pass.

Along with the release date, 11 Bit Studios has shared a new trailer that provides a slew of pre-order information. It reveals that those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will have access to features such as the closed beta scheduled for next month and access to story mode three days before its official release.

Capcom's Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be released sometime this year

Revealed at the Xbox Game Show last summer, Capcom's upcoming action game Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess appeared at today's Partner Preview event, receiving new details and a release window. The latest trailer shows off plenty of action and highly detailed and stylish characters.
