One “YellowstoneThe star will miss the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards due to vaccination and testing guidelines for the event.
“I mean no offense to anyone,” Fury J. Smith said in an Instagram address to his followers on Monday. “It is a requirement that the vaccination be done.”
Event organizers said the awards show, scheduled to air live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, February 27, will require attendees to be vaccinated, receive a booster and test negative for COVID-19 within 48 hours of the show. Organizers are also asking attendees to wear a mask.

“I’m not a restaurant,” Smith says in the video. “I won’t get a vaccine.” “I haven’t been vaccinated since I was a little kid. I don’t vaccinate my dogs, and I don’t vaccinate my horses. I’ve never had a flu shot. I would never. I think they put your immunity at risk.”

Smith, who plays Lloyd Pierce on the series, said he planned to walk the red carpet at the awards show, but “I just don’t believe in that stuff.”
He was a recurring character on the show until season three when his role was upgraded to a regular series as Hand on a Big Farm.

“Yellowstone” earned its first SAG nomination on January 12 for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
